Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TastePass and your purchase of our digital travel itineraries. By using TastePass or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who we are

TastePass (“TastePass”, “we”, “us”) is an independent travel-planning service that provides AI-assisted itineraries built around real, currently-operating venues and genuinely good food. Your purchase is sold by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”), who is the seller of record; TastePass operates the service and curates the itineraries. When you buy, your contract for the sale is with Paddle, and Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply. Your personal and legal identity is not published on the site, Paddle, as Merchant of Record, is the named seller.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use TastePass.

3. What TastePass is, and isn’t

TastePass generates day-by-day travel itineraries: real attractions, hand-picked restaurants with notes on what to order, area-by-area routing, and downloadable PDF itineraries. TastePass is a planning tool, not a travel agency or booking service. We do not sell flights, hotels, tours, or restaurant reservations. Where we link to third-party booking providers, those bookings are between you and that provider on their terms.

4. The nature of the content

  • AI-assisted and human-curated. Itineraries are generated with AI and curated from real venue data. We verify each venue as a real, currently-operating place through Google Places before including it, and we give you a Google Maps link to each one, so you get its live rating, hours and directions rather than a snapshot frozen on the day we built your plan.
  • Details change. Opening hours, prices, menus, and availability change, and venues can close without notice. Always confirm current details directly with the venue before relying on them.
  • No dietary guarantee. Restaurants are chosen for quality and reputation. We make no dietary, allergen, halal, kosher, or other suitability claims. If you follow a specific diet or have allergies, confirm details directly with the venue.
  • No paid placement. Venues are selected on merit; we do not accept payment from venues for inclusion. Where we earn affiliate commissions from booking partners, that is disclosed below and never changes which venues we recommend.

5. Credits and how they work

Itineraries are bought as credits. One destination uses one credit. Credits are valid for 18 months from purchase and can be redeemed as a single multi-destination trip or across several separate trips. Multi-destination passes unlock as more cities go live. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value except as required by law or our Refund Policy.

6. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in USD on the site and charged by Paddle, who may add applicable sales tax or VAT at checkout based on your location. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. We may change prices for future purchases; changes do not affect credits you already hold.

7. Refunds

Purchases are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, refunds are issued through Paddle.

Some links to booking providers are affiliate links: if you book through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only display a partner once their affiliate account is approved, we never imply a partnership we don’t have. Affiliate relationships never influence which venues or attractions we recommend.

9. Acceptable use

Don’t resell, redistribute, scrape, or commercially exploit our itineraries or content; don’t misuse the service, attempt to break or overload it, or use it unlawfully. Itineraries are licensed to you for your personal travel use.

10. Intellectual property

The TastePass name, logo, site, and the structure and presentation of itineraries are ours. Your purchased itinerary PDFs are yours to use and share with your own travel companions for personal use.

11. Disclaimers

TastePass is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that the service or any itinerary will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. You are responsible for your own travel decisions, safety, bookings, visas, insurance, and for verifying current venue details.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TastePass’s total liability arising from the service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the itinerary in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example, missed reservations, closed venues, or travel disruption). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and consumers retain all mandatory rights under their local law.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes affecting existing credits will be communicated by email where we can.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. The payment transaction is additionally governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms.
